Delivery and Returns

Delivery Times

At Laura Hayward Jewellery, each piece of jewellery is lovingly hand made in our London studio. Many of the pieces available for purchase from our website are ready for dispatch in 2-3 working days but some are made to order and will take 14-28 days before dispatch.

 

If an item is a made to order piece, it will be clearly labelled as such on its product page. Here you will also find out how many days your item will take from the date of purchase to the date of dispatch.

 

Once you have purchased a made to order item you will receive a confirmation email with further details about the period of time your piece will take to be created. You will then receive an email when your item is ready to be sent to you. If you have a special date by which you need your order please contact us at sales@laurahayward.co.uk and we will do our best to get your order to you in time.

 

UK Delivery

Delivery costs £6.00 per order. We use Royal Mail Special Delivery, a secure, next day delivery service which requires a signature upon receipt.

Please note that the next day delivery time is from the date of dispatch, not the date the order is placed. Please see the delivery times section above for further information.

 

For security reasons, we can only send items to the address you provide to Paypal.

 

International Delivery

Delivery costs £12.00 per order. We use Royal Mail International Tracked & Signed service. Delivery times are estimated at 5-10 working days from the date of dispatch, depending on the destination.

For security reasons, we can only send items to the address you provide to Paypal.

 

*Please be aware that any duty and taxes, that may be due in the country of destination, are the responsibility of the customer.*

 

Your parcel will need a signature on arrival, so unfortunately we cannot send to an unmanned PO BOX.

 

How your order will arrive

Your order will be dispatched in an unbranded, padded external envelope and inside your jewellery will be wrapped in our beautiful monogrammed packaging, which includes a protective, suede jewellery pouch.

 

Returns and refunds

Please note that we cannot accept returns for earrings, for reasons of hygiene. This does not affect your statutory rights.

 

We hope that you are delighted with your piece of jewellery but if you wish to return an item that is not a pair of earrings then please contact us at sales@laurahayward.co.uk. We will then notify you of the correct returns procedure. Please note that made to order items can be returned and exchanged but not refunded.

 

Our returns policy lasts 14 days. If 14 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we cannot offer you a refund or exchange.

 

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

 

Laura Hayward Jewellery does not accept any responsibility for return postage costs, nor for any items lost, stolen or damaged in transit. These responsibilities are those of the customer. Therefore we strongly recommend using a secure and tracked service to return the goods to us.

 

International Returns

Please note the general returns policy above, this also applies to international returns.

 

Please take care if a customs declaration form is required, to correctly mark the goods as a 'Returned Item'. This will ensure that no additional customs fees are incurred. In the instance that an item is incorrectly marked and a customs fee is incurred, this may be passed onto the customer. This may also delay the returns process.

If you are at all uncertain about how to correctly fill in the customs form, then please speak with the relevant customs or post department before returning the item.

 

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will be applied to your credit card or original method of payment. Please note that this can take up to 7 days.

Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

 

Damaged items

We only replace items in the rare event that they are defective or damaged on arrival.  If you need to exchange an item for this reason, please send us an email at sales@laurahayward.co.uk.
