These beautiful coin earrings have been created using a casting taken directly from a second century BC coin from the ancient Greek city of Ephesus. The coin depicts a bee and a stag, which were animals sacred to Artemis, the patron goddess of Ephesus. The bee was a symbol of diligence and perseverance and the stag was associated with grace and strength.
This gorgeous pair of reversible earrings can be easily removed from the ear hook and turned around to be worn as a matching or asymmetrical pair for a personalised style.
Metal: Sterling silver.
